What is a Pear Floater? Where is it used?
Pear floats are devices produced to prevent the pump from running without water in waste water and drainage applications. Waste water floats, pear floats provide level control of liquids in waste water systems in residences and industrial facilities.
What is the Difference of Pear Type Floaters from Other Floaters?
Normal type liquid level floats; It is an electrical control element that controls devices such as pumps and booster pumps to which it is connected by giving electrical contact according to the increase and decrease of the water level in tanks, large wells or water accumulations of a certain volume and depth.
Pear type liquid level floats are produced for wastewater with particles and chemically aggressive wastewater such as manhole water, cafeteria wastewater, cesspool wells, industrial waste liquids. The float plugging event, which is frequently experienced in level floats working in septic liquids, is not experienced in this type of special floats.
Application areas of normal type liquid level floaters ;
Used in reservoirs, large wells (caisson wells) and water reservoirs.
Areas of use for pear type liquid level floats;
It provides level control of liquids in waste water systems in residences and industrial facilities. With its differently designed outer surface, waste water floats work smoothly in particulate environments and do not cause any sticking. Since the fluid density is high in waste water and drainage applications, heavier, resistant to acidic environments, pear-shaped floats that can float more easily in water are used.
