How to Clean the Radiator?

How to Clean the Radiators Effectively and Correctly with the Machine?
There are some rules that must be followed in order to perform radiator cleaning correctly and not to cause malfunctions. These are
The boiler is turned off and the inlet and outlet valves of the heating system are closed.
Purpose: To prevent substances such as lime sediment that will come out of the installation during cleaning from circulating through the boiler and clogging or disrupting sensitive materials such as filters, heat exchanger, circulation pump.
Radiators Cleaning Machine is connected to the installation by removing the towel warmer or radiator in the bathroom.
Question: Can we connect the radiators cleaning machine only from the bathroom?
Answer: We can connect the machine to the installation from anywhere in the installation or under the boiler.
Purpose: The reason for the bathroom is that when we clean, we need both a clean water tap and a waste water drain, and the bathroom is the place where we can find them at the same time.
At the same time, it is easy to clean the contamination that will occur while cleaning. Water or chemicals spilled while cleaning on carpet or parquet can cause great damage.
After the boiler is turned off and the machine connections are made, it is ensured that the machine is operated for 10 minutes with all the honeycombs open.
Clean water is taken into the machine by opening the clean water tap, and the machine flushes the clean water into the installation to remove the coarse dirt. The process is continued until the coarse dirt and sludge in the installation is completely removed.
After the coarse dirt is removed from the entire installation and the installation is filled with clean water, the drain and clean water hoses are disconnected.
The water in the installation and inside the machine is heated up to 30-40 °C.
Purpose: To soften lime deposits in the plumbing and because chemicals clean more effectively in hot water.
The chemical developed for cleaning the installation is calculated according to the size of the installation and a sufficient amount of chemical is added to the installation. The ratio of the chemical is 1/100, that is, 1 liter of chemical can be diluted up to 100 liters of water.
After the chemical is added, the machine is operated and circulated for 5-10 minutes while all the honeycombs are open in order to mix with the water in the installation.
After the chemical is spread throughout the installation and the water temperature is adjusted, the valves of all the honeycombs in the installation are closed and the cleaning process is started by opening the valves of only one honeycomb.
After the open honeycomb is thoroughly cleaned, it is closed and the next honeycomb is opened and so on.
Question: Why don’t we clean with all the honeycombs on?
Answer : The aim here is to clean efficiently by giving the high flow rate to a single honeycomb. When we clean with all the combs open, the pressurized water will return from the nearest comb and the next combs will not be cleaned as desired or the removed dirt will not be thrown out because there will not be a good sweeping effect in the next combs.
After the cleaning process in all honeycombs is completed, the rinsing process is started. Before starting the rinsing process, we clean the filter of the machine, we dispose of the chemical and dirty water in the system by pumping clean water into the system. We rinse thoroughly until we remove the removed lime from the system so that there is no chemical and dirty water in the system.
System protection chemical is added to the installation after the clean water supply is finished. System protection chemical protects all parts in your installation and boiler and prevents corrosion.
It delays the formation of impurities coming from water and keeps your system clean for a longer period of time. Thus, the life of your installation and boiler is extended. Since the formation of pollution will be delayed, you will pay less money for natural gas.
Before connecting the system to the boiler, the boiler filter is also cleaned. Then, after the boiler connections are made, the boiler is started and water is added until the system pressure is 1.5 bar.
After the boiler is started, all the honeycombs are bled and the heating of the honeycombs is checked.
